Title: Senior Database Analyst Programmer
Location: Washington, DC
Status: US Citizenship
Assignment Start/End Date:ASAP
Duration of Project:12Months, potentially longer
Rate: TBD/DTE
Experience: Requires a minimum of three years of relevant experience in programming. The
candidate must have experience programming with/for at least two programming languages
and/or operating systems such as: C++; Visual Basic; ORACLE database; Oracle Developer;
Microsoft family of operating systems; Linux; JAVA; etc. Additionally, the candidate must have
at least one-year experience using Internet web design and development software.
Education: A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field. The candidate may
substitute four years of demonstrated computer programming experience and an Associate degree
in any discipline for the Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field requirement.
Functions: Under general direction, designs, implements and maintains complex database With
respect to JCL, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization,
protection and security, documentation and statistical methods. Includes maintenance of database
dictionaries, overall monitoring of standards and procedures and integration of systems through
database design. Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of database management.
The candidate accomplishes tasks on time and independently, and may occasionally serve as
team leader.
